Gag Question

in a lot of the gag pictures the gag is a flat type knot. wondering how to tie that type. maybe it's what you are calling a cleave gag. my gag knots are big and bulky.....I like the smooth flat type but don't know how to tie the scarf like that. please help!

If I'm using a knotted scarf to gag a girl, I just use a simple single crossover knot (the first stage of a reef knot) and pull it very tight so the girl can hold it comfortably between her teeth. If your knot is too thick either you are tying a double knot, which isn't really necessary, or the scarf you are using is too thick - a fine silk scarf works well.
